Organic Waste Circulation Solution

The livestock excreta treatment solution of STICO Research Institute realizes resource use based on three principles : zero liquid fertilizer, rapid collection and rapid treatment, and natural circulation. Through this, the goal is to realize carbon neutrality, improve the living environment, and prevent a pandemic. The organic waste recycling project proposes a sustainable natural circulation system.

ONI-STOP & POO-GREEN : Total Process

Conventional livestock manure treatment involves solid-liquid separation to separately process liquids into liquid fertilizer or purified water and solids into compost, requiring a lengthy composting period of 60 to 80 days. In response, STICO Research Institute developed the proprietary ONI-STOP & POO-GREEN integrated system to enable rapid treatment, resource recovery, purification, deodorization, and fuelization within one circular process.

[ ONI-STOP System (Drying & Resource Recovery) ]

  • Raw Manure Treatment without Separation: Mixes and high-speed dries livestock manure within 12 to 24 hours.
  • Waste Heat Circulation & Reuse: Recycles generated steam as a heating source to reduce electricity costs.
  • Compost Recirculation: Reuses the produced compost as a substitute for bulking agents, cutting auxiliary material costs.

[ Poo-Green System (Purification, Deodorization & Fuelization) ]

  • Condensate Purification: Condenses and purifies generated water vapor for discharge and reuse as cleaning water.
  • Source Odor Control: Captures and purifies drying odors while suppressing odor generation directly inside barn pits.
  • Bio-Solid Fuel Production: Pelletizes dried byproducts to supply them as fuel for power generation facilities.
